Literal translation
There is couch grass to sort out
Meaning
there's a lot of work still to sort out
Explanation
Says there is a great deal of work to be done, specifically a lot of poorly done work to redo, plenty of bad things to sort out. The image comes from couch grass, a weed that has to be carefully picked out and removed, a tedious task if ever there was one.
