Atlas of Provençal history

This atlas brings together, in a single reference, every date the corpus of Raoul Busquet attaches to the history of Provence: eleven themes, four broad periods, and the places, institutions and people running through them. War carries the greatest weight, culture reveals a silence in the sources more telling than its dates, religion falls silent after the early modern period: each theme tells part of the country's history simply through how its dates fall across time.
